hello everyone, I'm giving a talk on Gradle in May. I've been studying the user guide and am very impressed.
Over the coming days, I'd like to ask a few questions as part of my research. My inclination is to keep them as relatively separate posts to the list, my apologies if this seems spammy. Just a couple of background / doc Q's in this message: Q: Is there a resource that explains the original motivation for Gradle? I realize the goal, and have read many of Hans' posts, but I'm curious about the motivation to begin the project in the first place. Q: I know one goal for the doc is to have a feature comparison matrix for the inevitable comparisons of Gradle, Maven, and Ant + Ivy. Is there such a thing yet?
