It's been a while since I had a 0.9.14 install, and I tend to upgrade differently (create a new VM and export/import the MySQL data), but what you're doing seems reasonable.

However I see you're getting the 'error 14' message so wonder if you're running into the Win10 > 1903 bug I mentioned a while ago? This will manifest itself with freerdp2, although the issue does seem to be down to M$.

To deal with this (on the Win10 machine you need to disable "use WDDM graphics display driver for remote desktop connection":

This should be available via Group Policy Editor:

-Local Computer Policy
-Computer Configuration
-Administrative Templates
-Windows Components
-Remote Desktop Services
-Remote Session Environment

Also, given George's comment, here's some detail on version of freerdp2-dev in Ubuntu 18.04.3 vs 20.04:

Package: freerdp2-dev
Architecture: amd64
Version: 2.0.0~git20170725.1.1648deb+dfsg1-7
Priority: optional
Section: devel
Source: freerdp2

Package: freerdp2-dev
Architecture: amd64
Version: 2.0.0~git20190204.1.2693389a+dfsg1-2build2
Priority: optional

I am also having the same problem with guacamole 1.1.0. It works just fine when I am using remote desktop from my desktop but not over Guacamole. I believe this is a problem of the freerdp2 version which comes with Ubuntu 18.04. I am planning to upgrade to 20.04 and check if it gets around this problem. Potentially you can downgrade the freerdp version, or the guacamole, not sure if this problem is with the guacd or guacamole client though but I haven't tried it personally. I also think that the Github page contains the most up to date version 1.2.0 which is still not released as stable, so this is another thing to consider. In any case, please keep us posted if you manage to fix it. I will do the same.

    Hi!

If I select NLA, TLS or Any, then syslog reports a segfault. If I
    select RDP
encryption, It just reports error connecting to RDP server.

I have ticked the "ignore server certificate" checkbox.

I've already tried to compile this on gcc-7 and gcc-8. Same result.

    Any ideas?

I will try to compile the git server version.

    Thank you!
