Hello Yes, I understood the same as you. In the logs on /var/log/syslog I have this:
Apr 15 20:14:28 fer-virtual-machine guacd[2024]: Creating new client for protocol "ssh" Apr 15 20:14:28 fer-virtual-machine guacd[2024]: Connection ID is "$126441ad-9707-4ec8-aee4-58f1385dde99" Apr 15 20:14:28 fer-virtual-machine guacd[5194]: User "@9faebbf0-663e-4279-aeb8-ef5b2f0ffd19" joined connection "$126441ad-9707-4ec8-aee4-58f1385dde99" (1 users now present) Apr 15 20:14:29 fer-virtual-machine guacd[5194]: No known host keys provided, host identity will not be verified. Apr 15 20:14:29 fer-virtual-machine guacd[5194]: Unable to set the timezone: SSH server refused to set "TZ" variable. Apr 15 20:14:29 fer-virtual-machine guacd[5194]: SSH connection successful. I don't know if guacamole has more logs. And yes, the destination SSH machine is reachable. Guacamole version 1.3.0 FreeRDP version 2.2.0+dfsg1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 I installed guacamole natively. And private mode doesnt work [cid:178d6989888ef9b53b1] The above looks identical to the non-private screenshot from before. To be clear, if you are connecting to an SSH connection and see a cursor, the scrollbar, and the configured color scheme, the Guacamole portion of the connection has succeeded and is functioning. The terminal view you see above is actually guacd rendering the terminal display, and there is nothing failing within the browser nor in the connection to guacd. You are not seeing any output because there has been no output received from the SSH server (yet). What do you see within the guacd logs when trying to connect? Are you sure the destination SSH machine is reachable over the network from the server running guacd? Michael Jumper CEO, Lead Developer Glyptodon Inc<https://glyp.to/>.
