Nick, I am able to get to the restrictions using an “in private” window so I am all good, however, I now see that administrators are exempted from the enhanced restrictions by design.
I wonder if you would consider changing this. I would argue that it is most important that we be able to restrict admin account, in fact, that is really the sole purpose for me enabling the plugin. I want to make sure that the admin can only login from inside our network. I would propose that it is important for security to be able to do this…. Is this something you would consider? I wanted to enable enhanced restrictions so I added the “RESTRICT_ENABLED="true"” to my run statement. In the logs, I see that it loaded: 19:25:56.490 [main] INFO o.a.g.extension.ExtensionModule - Extension "MySQL Authentication" (mysql) loaded. 19:25:56.649 [main] INFO o.a.g.extension.ExtensionModule - Extension "RADIUS Authentication Backend" (radius) loaded. 19:25:56.652 [main] INFO o.a.g.extension.ExtensionModule - Extension "Restriction Authentication Backend" (restrict) loaded. However, I don’t see the enhanced restriction section in the users properties….i do see this: [cid:[email protected]] What am I doing wrong? I think you just need to clear the browser cache and reload the page - this tends to happen when there are GUI changes in Guacamole, for example switching versions, or, as in your case, adding a new extension. -Nick ________________________________ This email has been scanned for spam and viruses by Proofpoint Essentials.
