Yes, and since 7.0.37 via the Tomcat-specific WebSocket API. Your version is definitely new enough. What does Chrome show in the "network" tab of its dev tools when you try to connect? You'll probably need to open dev tools and reload the page for the WebSocket connection attempt to be visible. - Mike
