Yes. It will start zookeeper by default. Else you can start it manually too.

HBase does require zookeeper.  However you can have hbase manage zookeeper for 
you or you could manage zookeeper yourself.  For the size of your cluster 
(small) I would just let hbase manage zookeeper.  If I'm not mistaken the 
standard start up scripts that come with apache hbase will start up zookeeper 
by default.
