Generally, when the development is completed in any of the labs projects, it is typically promoted up to the main jclouds repository and then is considered “production” ready.
Just to add: "not production ready" this does not mean that the quality is necessarily any lower than of any of the "production-ready" providers. It's just that labs providers are something more "in flux" than the ones in the main repo.
There are quite a few users with labs providers in production, for what it's worth.
