I guess this would fit more to the dev list rather than here. Correlation for people who use load runner terms is to automatically find other graphs which behave the same to specific one.
I.e: I have graph of response times over time and a graph of CPU usage on one of the monitored servers. Correlation will find that these two graphs are bahaving similar and will pin point me what is causing response times to get worse. This is extremelly useful when we are collecting a lot of metrics and need to compare them manually... It might be easier to develop this based on JMeter Plugins @ GC...
