Hey If you are running a load user test, then just boot up the machines and run. If you are running a very high load user test, you would have to customize the system (depending on what they let you configure) depending on your system. (most of the time as pointed by you TCP Connections, Threads, Memory, etc). You might even have to alter hardware setting (CPU, Processor, etc...)
