Jmeter does not support XLS out of the box , but it can be done using Beanshell/BSF/Java and libraries like POI/JExcelAPI. most of these dont support formulae however - if all you are worried about is time - use the JMeter functions - http://jmeter.apache.org/usermanual/functions.html
