IMHO, and with all due respect to the JMeter team, I don't believe that JMeter 
is suited for this task. I'd put load on the server with JMeter but then I'd 
use other tooling to get the measurements you seek. You also have to know that 
how the browser reacts to responses from the server *will* affect the time it 
takes the server to serve up pages.
