Hi,
What do you consider in the startup (just the bootstrap, as soon as you
have the shell, other) ?
As far as I understood, your featuresBoot contains just the war feature.
I ran a quick test with YourKit this morning (without the war feature),
the bootstrap is equivalent between 2.2.2 and 2.2.7.
I will setup a new scenario with the startup of boot features.

Hi,
We run an application on a small embedded plug computer. Our startup times
on Karaf 2.2.2 where about 3 minutes to get everything up and running. We
just upgraded to 2.2.7 and the startup time jumped to over 5 minutes. The
application didn't change at all.
We are trying to do some timing on log statements to see what is taking
longer but it is a painstaking process. Does anyone know of any changes
between 2.2.2 and 2.2.7 that might have significantly impacted startup
times?
Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated!
