You are right. Nothing is planned for 2.2.12, but I can review the Jira
to prepare a maintenance release.

You are right: it's a known issue around the aliases.
I fixed that on 2.3.x branch, but not on 2.2.x. Do you want this fix on 2.2.x
as well ?
