Our custom distribution includes everything we use in the system repository, and does not use remote repositories at all (we've even removed the default ones from the configuration). As such, this solution works fine for our case.
With that said, is there a way to prevent Karaf from creating a directory for a repository on the local disk listed in the configuration if it doesn't already exist?
