Yes,

After one or a couple of seconds all logs are sent to the karaf.log file as 
expected.

I'm wondering if sysouts may not come from logs sent when the bundle is first 
started (during startup)...

It's weird, as I don't have it locally.

Are you sure to not have a SystemOut appender in org.ops4j.pax.logging.cfg or 
another log config ?
