I look for solutions, and Lenya is extremely flexible if you have
someone willing to work with it.

Would this be possible with some coding: multiple files within a
content directory aggregate into a single page?  Does the blog pub do
something similar?  Could each of the subpages be assigned different
authors?

Jason,
Are you certain this is required?  If information is controlled by
different people, it is often better to have separate webpages.  Is
your organization large enough that one person cannot have
responsibility for an entire webpage?

homepages, and automatic feeds from the sections controlled by the
various departments can eliminate anybody directly editing a homepage.
