Cool. I'm looking forward to reading the wiki page, especially if I can learn from your experiences to make the FCKeditor integration work better.
From the users' perspective, FCK really had the URL linking down quite nicely. TinyMCE is a bit of a pain to incorporate URLs into the editing of pages. You basically have to know the URL in advance, then ascertain whether to relative or absolute reference the link. Can be tricky, and certainly not something that can be deployed to *normal* users.
Tim's going to have a boo at integrating the FCK URL tools into TinyMCE, I do believe.
Eventually we probably ought to find a way to simplify Lenya's editor interface so that such integration efforts are easier and more maintainable. I know that has been proposed before.
From my stand-point, the big hurdles in our project has been dealing with the editors. TinyMCE is the 4th one we're testing. That's where everything gets tripped-up, cause ultimately, that's the interface we'll be presenting the users, few of which should know much about HTML / XML. Lenya rocks otherwise.
