500 is "internal server error", i.e. the cocoon servlet is unhappy. you might want to look into build/lenya/webapp/WEB-INF/logs/log4j.log and check what the problem is... maybe you can post the relevant lines? (please trim, lenya logging is horribly verbose by default.)
