ok, thanks. I am attempting to follow the directions to get this set up, but I'm not getting very far. I have a system running RHEL 5 with a fresh install of Midgard 1.8.6. It looks like MidCOM 2.6 gets installed by default, so am I correct in assuming that I need to get the latest MidCOM from Subversion (http://www.midgard-project.org/documentation/running-latest-midcom-from-subversion/) in order to get
2.8 ?

If so, which page is being referred to in the "MidCOM Setup" section (of the page referenced above) where
code is supplied to add to code-init ?

Also, none of the URLs using "|/midcom-exec-midcom/" are working (getting 404s). Did I miss a step that sets
this up ?

Lastly, when I go into the MidCOM admin, the initialization step seems to work ok, but when I go into |Content Authoring and Site Administration, I get a blank page and the following error in the error log:

Call to a member function codeinit() on a non-object. Again, |did I miss something in the set up ?|

Thanks again.

Hi!

What is the recommended tool for setting up staging to live replication
in Midgard 1.8 ? I'm trying to use the exorcist
set up that I used with 1.7 but am getting the following error:

Midgard and MidCOM replicators. Those are built-in features.

<http://www.midgard-project.org/documentation/php-midgard_replicator/>

Note that Midgard replicator is only API, while MidCOM provides ready to
use services.
