Thanks for your reply. Do you mind elaborating on the status of thrift server
development? Things I am looking for
1. Any known stability/performance concerns?
2. If there is a list of things to do on the thrift server side before starting
it by default with the livy server, I would be interested to know about them.
3. Status of any testing effort?

Hi Team,
Livy thrift server is marked as experimental in livy 0.6 release. Can someone
elaborate on the known limitations, major bugs etc?
Also the livy thrift server is not started by default. How do I start it?
