Just FYI there is an item our requesting the Maven Eclipse Plugin
(eclipse:eclipse) have the ability to make the projects M2 Eclipse
ready. See http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MECLIPSE-78. I have posted a
couple patches on there and I have a version which works pretty well
with the 0.0.10 build. Maybe if more people were to vote for it they
would consider adding it to plugin source.

For those on the list still suffering confusion (or perhaps its just
me).

I think what Eugene was trying to say was that this is not the mailing
list for the maven-eclipse-plugin
(http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-eclipse-plugin/) which is a
maven-plugin for Eclipse. It is the mailing list for an eclipse-plugin
that integrates with Maven.

Unfortunately, the maven-eclipse-plugin which has the "mvn
eclipse:eclipse" command does not appear to be compatible with this
plugin. We have a directive NOT to use the maven-eclipse-plugin as it
destroys the Maven dependencies that the eclipse-maven-plugin (to use
the same syntax) provides so well. It is also *very* unfortunate that
there is so much overlap and conufsion between the two. We really only
need a single plugin. You don't need to modify your eclipse settings
from the command line, if the eclipse-maven-plugin does it from Eclipse.

Eugene, is that about right?

William

Eugene - my fault. I guess this list is not for the mvn eclipse plugin?
Does a mailing list exist for the eclipse plugin, and if so, do you know
where its at?

Thx,

Davis

To begin with, if you are using eclipse:eclipse this is wrong
mailing
        list.

        regards,
        Eugene
