I see each plugin (like SVN and CVS) has its own "Console" section in the preferences. Maybe the setting I mentioned is not a global setting for all, but just for run/debug. What I did was set the run/debug / console limit to 1000, clear the m2 console, restart eclipse, count the chars in m2 console and there were more than 1000 ( a lot more ). Regards, David
