It's not exactly the problem you describe below but it's close.
The issue is still in status unassigned.
Adam, I can understand your frustration, but unfortunately with about
150 other open issues we may not get to that issue any time soon, unless
someone from community will step forward and contribute a patch (like it
been done for MNGECLIPSE-105).
