To many variables to suggest anything useful. Do you have "refresh
automatically" turned on in General / Workspace preferences by any
chance? You can also try to disable automatic builds for JDT, but I
doubt it would help.
The thing is, there is little I can see that's different from the
other eclipse, the main thing is the m2eclipse plugin in the new version.
Thread dumps didn't show anything of particular interest, but again,
this bug I referred to happens when one thread once opened a JAR file
for writing. Could there be something in the embedded indexer that
does that?
The only thing I can think of is that JDT is somehow trying to read
jars that are being updated by other background job, hence I suggested
to disable automatic builds to see if it would help.
