I assume you can open nexus-maven-repository-index.properties at that
location in the web browser?
If so, try to specify repository URL with and without trailing slash:
That is! There is one drawback. When I open from archiva browser this url
http://sis2s018:9090/archiva/repository/internal/.index
it shows me
nexus-maven-repository-index.properties
nexus-maven-repository-index.zip
files, but when I'm trying to open one of this links I get error
The following resource does not exist:
http://sis2s018:9090/repository//.index/nexus-maven-repository-index.properties
I guess it mean that Archiva can't serve those files from such
location and you will have to host them somewhere else and point
m2eclipse at that location using "index update url". Alternatively, you
could use some other repository manager that would allow to serve these
index files, e.g. Nexus repository manager generates them automatically.
