has anyone noticed that mvn dependency:tree is showing different
artifacts used in a project then what is shown in Maven Dependencies library in

I can provide more details (tell me which are relevant) , I just want
initial confirmation.
I think you are seeing differences between mvn 2.08 and 2.1-SNAPSHOT.
The latter is used when you launch maven goals from Eclipse by default.
You can register your external 2.0.8 installation and mark is as default
or explicitly specify in the Maven launch configuration.
