You can try to delete "central" entry from the "Maven Indexes" view
and add it back. If that won't help, try to delete folder at
<workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\org.maven.ide.eclipse\nexus\central while
Eclipse is not runinng and then start it again. But before that, can you
please send me the following files (please zip them, just in case):
<workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\org.maven.ide.eclipse\indexInfo.xml
<workspace>\.metadata\.plugins\org.maven.ide.eclipse\nexus\central\timestamp

By default all indexes are updated on Eclipse startup (you can turn
that off in Maven settings). So it is quite possible that you already
have latest index, but you can check index timestamp from the Maven
Indexes view using Edit action on the corresponding index node, there
you can see index update time.
