Ah, I understand now.

Even though it doesn't allow me to change it, i think it picks it up from
the default global settings right?  I have seen it appear in windows, but in
Ubuntu it doesn't show up.  I thought it might be related to M2_HOME, so I
added it to both the linked resource in eclipse as well as my environment
file.  It did not show up.  What am I doing wrong here?
