We are developing Eclipse plugins and want to build them with Maven. We are interested in your TYCHO project which seems to be the most promising project today. Thanks for your work! During evaluation we run into some problems. It would be great if you could help us regarding these subjects: - What kind of license is applied to your TYCHO project ? - What is the official website of your project ? Do you host any other sites beside: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Tycho+project+scope+and+planned+feature+list - Does your Tycho project already provide a mailing list, bug tracking or discussion forum for additional questions ? Further questions regarding usage of your maven plugin: - We used this command to build our pom.xml: mvn org.codehaus.tycho:maven-tycho-plugin synchronize-plugin-pom -DtargetPlatform=j:\fresh\eclipse We noticed that we have to copy all our own plugins to the used Eclipse target platform (j:\fresh\eclipse\) to be able to resolve all necessary plugin dependencies. For instance: PluginB depends on PluginA. If we want to create the pom.xml of PluginB then we have to copy the PluginA.jar to the Eclipse target platform before running the command mentioned above. Is there any other way to create the desired pom.xml without copying PluginA to the target platform ? Thanks in advance!
