Hi Assuming you want to run Mahout on hadoop Hadoop 2.x series on windows -- http://www.srccodes.com/p/article/38/build-install-configure-run-apache-hadoop-2.2.0-microsoft-windows-os Note that the current version of mahout has to be rebuilt for it to work on Hadoop 2.x -- https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAHOUT-1329 so you need to download the source , apply the patch and rebuild -- https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/MAHOUT/BuildingMahout
