Hi folks,

please don't laugh -- I think I must have overlooked something
completely obvious, but ...

Midgard 1.4b7 on a Redhat 6.2 box w/ Linux 2.4.0-test6
Login to the (old) admin site works as admin, but not as a user.
See with plaintext passwords:

| mysql> select username, password from person;
| +----------+---------------+
| | username | password |
| +----------+---------------+
(...)
| | phr | **test123 |
| +----------+---------------+
| 3 rows in set (0.00 sec)

error_log:
| [Wed Dec 20 13:47:14 2000] [debug] mod_midgard.c(1173): [client
| 195.30.85.203] midgard_translate_handler(latin1,

And I tried often enough, even by cut-and-paste ... :-/

BTW: The above mentioned user is not a member of any group, as
there are none defined. That shouldn't be a problem, though --
right?

     Thanks for your help,
     phr
