I fixed the problem -- it was quite the same as Ingo's but in my
case mgd_list_topics() and mgd_list_topic_articles_all(), both
called with a topic id of 0.

That's a severe bug in Midgard, I'd say -- it costs quite a lot
of time to debug simple typo's this way ;-)
