I'm having a heck of a time linking articles to pages in nadmin. The manual page at: http://www.hklc.com/midgard_manual/article_504 States in part: "The element <[code-init]> has a special use, it is included before the page's style is displayed, and can be used to fetch an article (using PHP)." There is no additional instructions on what to put in code-init. And after looking through the documentation for using News styles, and not being able to get them to work, I've come to the conclusion that maybe I need to be including nadmins code snippet for news. So I've included the following in my code-init: <? mgd_include_snippet("/hklc_news_simple/newsbody"); ?> So after saving this code-init, I then try it out by entering the following in the page index.html: <[fullindex_header]> And I get nothing :-( I think that I need to somehow let midgard now which topic/articles/news I desire to be fetched. I used the nadmin interface to set the index.html Details section to take News from the correct topic, but nothing happens. I did notice that there is a note in the details section which indicates; "Note: only available on "master newsStyles"." Now, I know I'm not using master newsStyles because they don't seems to work properly. So I'm trying to use the snippet instead, but I'm missing something. Can anyone help me with this problem? Am I making any sense? BTW, is it possible that we use [nadmin-user] in the subject for email discussion instead of [midgard-user]? This would make it easier to spot emails dealing with the nadmin application. sincerely, enrique --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
