This sounds exactly like what we need at Stonesoft.
BTW. I would like to bring the nadmin forward more aggressively
on the main Midgard site. Asgard is good for generic administration,
but nadmin is what enables people to use Midgard as a out-of-the-box
CMS system, which is nice.
We need to support development and distribution of applications like
this. Midgard itself is just an engine for application development,
but new users will need readymade solutions to start from.

OK. We could also run tests for this on our new servers. The sites
will be going like on mid-March, and I would love to be able to
start testing out the staging system ASAP.
The old replication setup we had at Stonesoft was rather troublesome,
as it used the old (Jukka's) Repligard, only only handled full database
dumps. This caused high load on the MySQL server, crashing it every now
and then. I'm hoping that the new Repligard will fix this, once we get
the handling of approvals sorted out (thanks to nadmin?)
