Well, I tried that. Several times. I assumed that an include-file ends
with *.h, but it didn't work out. 
It doesn't work if I choose the path of the expat.h , too. Don't know if
it's a debian-problem or if I'm simply too stupid to understand
./configure.

Btw., how "dangerous" is it to change the configuration of one module
(midgard-php) by doing make clean and then ./configure e.g. with the
right xml-path? Do I have to fear that this interferes with the three
other modules and Midgard won't work any more? (I'm just so happy that
it seems to work)
