Tarjei Huse wrote:Hi list.
I've finaly got around to the daunting task of installingmgd on a server.I've got'en quite far, but am having some problems. When Ito access theadmin sites, I get one of the following:
a) apache core dumps. Has happened sometimes.Specifically the admin sites?b) I get the following error message:
Warning: Unable to load dynamic library'/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20001222/midgard.so' -/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20001222/midgar
d.so: cannotopen shared object file: Ingen slik fil eller filkatalog inWhatever this message says :) it means that PHP didn't
load the extension from php.ini. Highly recommended.
If you translate the above error we'll know why.Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mgd_get_midgard() in
/usr/local/apache/libexec/midgard-root.php on line 14That error is a result of PHP failing to load Midgard. Is this the same problem as referd to under compiling proswith midgard-php4?
(I'm using php from cvs, should I use php-4.0.4rc1?)That I don't know. The errors you quoted are probably solved by
the new php4 package available from the midgard site (including
a generated header file did the trick). I'm trying to update
sourceforge but their FTP server is overwhelmed it seems.
