Is v1.4 stable enough to install and use without a lot of 'hacking'? Or, does it require a bit or a lot of 'hacking' to install and use? Definition: Hacking--work that can't be done by a non-programmer. Background: For months now I have been checking to see if binaries are available. Up to now I have assumed that if binaries aren't available, then v1.4 must not yet be staple. [This assumption seem to be buttressed by the continued reporting of problems on this maillist.] I am now seeking opinions from experienced users of v1.4. I'd like to install and start exploring the features of Midgard. I've previously installed v1.2.x from tarballs; the instructions were mostly correct but the install took some hacking. I've been willing to wait months to try v1.4 because I don't have a lot of time for hacking. Should I install now or continue to wait for v1.4 stability? Definition: Stability--requiring little or no hacking? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
