I'm in the process of setting up a clustering solution for two midgard
boxes. Just wanted to get some input before I start causing myself
headaches.
The IP load balancing will be round robin DNS until I impliment a better
solution (suggestions wanted)
Failover will be monitoring scripts with MAC address takeover
Database replication will be mysql built in replication
File(blobs and images) replication will be with rsync
http://rsync.samba.org until I get a better one setup, such as
InterMezzo http://www.stelias.com
The admin interface will only attached (accessed) on one box (master)
since the file and database replication is master to slave only. The
sites on the other hand will be attached to both boxes.
Is this going to work? I'm I going to run into any problems with
midgard in this configuration? Thanks for your input
