This is what I have done before I tried the rpm's
(i.e.: getting sources for 1.4.1
--> compiling --> installing --> trouble
--> reading the mail archive
--> getting a copy from the daily snapshot
--> compiling --> installing --> the same trouble again).
Is it really sure that the error has been fixed?
