Right, of course. Especially if you don't have a real network for yourself
but use server hosing at some isp. On my personal server, which hosts
about 10 domains I'm quite happy with name-based hosting. Works fine and
is quite scalable.

I know this problem. Although, taking the university I'm attending to as
an example, it's not even the money that is the problem, but the
bureocracy. In Furtwangen it takes an average of a half year to get
something done which requires the confirmation of the senate. Well,
nothing we techies could do about that besides beeing innovative and
developing all these new technologies to work around those guys. *g*
