[midgard-user] midgard.so- starup problem

Hi out there,   I'm quite new to midgard - although I've spend a week on it ;-) I've the following problem, which prevents me from finally starting the midgard server (RH7.1)   Everything compiles fine no error-messages. Apache shows in its log, that midgard-extension is started, no php error-messages... (php.ini: all errors, startup-errors, errors to file...) but the php-midgard extension seems not to load. Every .mgd- extension is beeing 'downloaded' from a browser. The application/x-http... lalala is set on .mgd files... :-(   Can anyone help ???   Thanx, Chris
