This seems to come up a lot.
Might it not be better if midgard installed midgard-config
in a place more likely to be in a user's path, like /usr/bin
or /usr/local/bin ?

[xaymaca@gate xaymaca]$ which glib-config
/usr/bin/glib-config

[xaymaca@gate xaymaca]$ which gtk-config
/usr/bin/gtk-config

  # which php-config
/usr/local/bin/php-config
