There is some development of a openldap-sql module storing ldap data in a sql
db. Not to fast but worth mentioning. Also, I think one solution would be to
store userid and pwd in the ldap dir, and keep other midgardrelated things in
the persontable.

Hmm, if mgd_*_person functions could be used to make changes in ldap entrys, I
would probably be willing to fly to Suomi (that's where you live isn't it?)  and
hug you :)
