hello gladfully I noticed that discussion around docu didnot become as frustrating as some installation also was to me ;-)
Another frustration has not been mentioned because it may follow on a successfull installation. How so ? An often asked question deals with the next steps after an admin application has been installed. Also the first view to asgard is an important milestone for motivation. Since I already offered public access to my simple read/write system bremgard ( http://insight.kn-bremen.de:8080/Guild ) around asgard I'd like to offer it once again for documentation purposes. The next steps after installation from my point of view should show how pages/styles are connected to topic trees and users share them by groups. Instead of starting with a new site a learning person should rather re-use the complete asgard system and modify it until it becomes the new site. Much is to be done on my site. Especially I will have to document just the parts inside of asgard that make the difference between asgard and bremgard. Objects of asgard that have been modified could be marked for documentation. I'm working on special kind of articles in asgard that copies inline docu under one documentation topic tree. I don't believe that documentation can be seperated from developing parts. Because of the mass of changes software always suffers from every docu maybe outdated before it has been written. That's why it must be part of the development itself. regards, dieter -- Kind regards Dieter Heine Systemadministration Unix Astrium GmbH Raumfahrt Bremen EMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax: 49 421 539 5698 Phone: 49 421 539 4989 User Help Desk Astrium Friedrichshafen Phone (office Bremen): on request --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
