I've download 1.4.2
I've installed autooconf 2.52
I get the pemission denied error now. That is a blank configure is being
created !!!
This is weird everything else compiles fine except midgard-php4.
Has anybody have any success on that error.

What is the correct instalation route for midgard-php4

Ive tried all the diferent suggestions so far with no success.

freeBSD 4.2

Apache/1.3.19 (Unix) Midgard/1.4.2/SG PHP/4.0.6 configured

any help would be gratefull
I need to have this ready by Monday

thanks in advance

Thatexplaination was for the configure in 1.4.2 and latest cvs shaps, so
you
should check them out. 1.4.1 isn't really good tothether with php 4.0.6 .

Thats ok. No problem.

2.13 fits, the compiler message "cannot create ex..." depends on other
errors, but I got much trouble with 2.50, perhaps they fixed 2.52.

> I find all this rather baffling. Any ideas, anyone?

get 1.4.2 or cvs snap, edit mkall and disable configure, make and make
install,
rund mkall and then configure --with-midgard, take a look at config.log and
perhaps you will see the same error discussed here. If not type make, make
install else send config.log ;-)
