Hi,

Done.

sure, in my config it says cant find libmysql, thats not the error.

> i ve modified the configure file removed the line
> do I need to remove the whole line or the extra -l

Hey, my english is not quit perfect, but didn't i say "looks like"? and that
there is an extra "-l"

So, lets look at your config.log's last lines:

configure:2568: checking for executable suffix configure:2578: gcc -o
conftest -g -O2 -I/usr/local/lib/glib/include -I/usr/local/include
conftest.c -l -L/usr/local/lib -lglib 1>&5
/usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot find -l--library=glib

3rd line, an empty extra -l between configtest.c and -L/usr, you see?
So, thats the error, the extra -l .

And as i said bevor:

> So, search for LIBS="-l $LIBS" in the configure script and delete the whole
> line.

You also can delete only the -l but $LIBS=$LIBS doesnt make sense to me, you
perhaps can write TRUE at that point.

So, feel free to delete only -l or the complete line ( there are two of
them).

and than let it run, after building that midgard.so check if all libs are
found "ldd midgard.so" !

regards Martin
