Hi, I' ve been trying to install midgard on a Redhat 7.1 now for 2 days (I used to have version 1.4 running on a Suse box, still with some Nadmin problems).
I did find some clues now and then in the mailing list archive, but a mailing list archive really is far to fragmented to find the information you need, even if it is indexed and has an excellent interface as on the Marc's site... I did not post my problems in the mailinglist, partly for fear they'd been posted already, partly for fear to ask Linux/Unix general knowledge questions... Is it possible to enable again the possibility to add annotations to http://www.midgard-project.org/manual/ ? Maybe even the possibility to add complete articles, so excellent explanations now posted on the mailinglist, can be added just once on the midgard project site, and then referred to on the mailinglist. I'm afraid otherwise the same questions will be asked again and again in the mailing list, without any real progress when it comes to documentation. I'm sorry about the harsh tone of this mail, but I'm afraid still other people will give up on the platform, which would really be a pity considering all the effort spent on it... Regards, pascal van hecke __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? NEW from Yahoo!
