The new online manual is made of flat php files, generated from the XML
sources using a special stylesheet. It uses a clone of the php.net notes.

Reason why it is not yet online is that I need to clean up the interface a
bit (HELP), and to replace the build process including downloadables
(progressing, thanks to Alexander).

No dice. phpFAQtory does create XML files, but it does not adhere to the
DocBook DTD, so it is hard to play with from that side. I hope to replace
it some time by a (midgard?) app that creates true XML, so that offline
versions can be made available in all sorts of formats. That will not
happen this month however.

I was thinking more in the other direction, extending the notes section
with a 'related FAQ links' section. That would be much easier.
