That second approach is also one Torben and I wanted to go for a
long time and never got to it ;)

bunch of StarImpress/PowerPoint slides with an introduction to
Midgard, its architecture and -- based on our extensive
experience -- best-practice tips for developing Midgard-based
websites. Additionally, we have two example sites (based on the
VMUC story, a very simple and an advanded one) for the presented
techniques.
We're still working on bringing that stuff online, but it could
be integrated with your work.
