Well, our "biggest" (in terms of database size ;-)) site as
about 17 000 articles at the moment, but only with some 1.000 -
1.500 page views a day.
Another (smaller) site serves over 10.000 PIs per day and runs
without problems on a hosted environment with a dozen other
chrooted Midgard servers and some 70 Apache VHosts of other
customers on the same machine (simple PC architecture, single
AMD Duron-900 CPU, 768 MB RAM, long-term load below 0.5).
